Torsten Lodderstedt

Dr.-Ing. Torsten Lodderstedt is a specialist for digital identities, co-author of essential, open standards in this field, and has more than 18 years of experience in the development and operation of identity management systems. He currently heads the German EUDI Wallet project at the Federal Agency for Breakthrough Innovation. Before that, he was responsible for final customer identities at Deutsche Telekom and has contributed to the establishment of both the yes.com open banking ecosystem and the OpenWallet Foundation. At the beginning of his career, he assisted organizations in the public and different private sectors in developing highly scalable and security-critical applications. Torsten Lodderstedt has a diploma and a PhD in computer science from the TU Dresden and University of Freiburg (Albert-Ludwig-Universität).
