Sabine Griebsch

Sabine Griebsch began her career in the field of administrative digitization at the Ministry of the Interior of Saxony-Anhalt, then moved into freelance work as an IT project manager, shifting her focus to open government data, geodata, sensor data, and the provision and use of data in municipal applications.
From 2020 to 2022, she was external CDO of the Anhalt-Bitterfeld district administration and handled the security incident (ransomware attack on the Anhalt-Bitterfeld district) as technical operations manager for the disaster response team. In other assignments, including in the state capital Potsdam, she works as a cyber and IT crisis manager.
Sabine Griebsch has been Managing Director of GovThings since 2022. With an interprofessional and interdisciplinary network of experts, she provides practical and theoretical support for municipal IT crisis situations and IT crisis exercises.
