Luke Paine (@v3r5ace) is the Director of Training at SpecterOps. He is a 5x BlackHat USA Trainer and has taught the SpecterOps methodology of detection engineering across the globe. A longtime member of the SpecterOps hunt and defensive consulting team, Luke has built detections for, and helped guide the detection programs of some of the largest companies in the United States. He has a mixed background in the security space, starting as a web developer, working as a contracted Red Teamer for the California Secretary of State’s Office, and the past 7 years as a blue teamer.
