John Stoner is a U.S. Army veteran and accomplished cybersecurity leader with over 25 years of experience, including 15+ years specializing in cybersecurity and cyber threat intelligence (CTI). He currently works at a FAANG company, where he supports cybersecurity consulting across global operations and instructs cybersecurity courses. John holds CISSP and PMP certifications and brings deep expertise across the U.S. Intelligence Community (USIC), SLED, and commercial sectors. His strengths include CTI, cross-functional cybersecurity consulting, program management, and cyber education.

A strong advocate for community and mentorship, John serves as the Vice Chairman of VetSec, a nonprofit supporting veterans in cybersecurity. He is also a longtime volunteer with DEFCON (G00N), The Diana Initiative, and BSides conferences. Beyond cyber, John is a certified U.S. Soccer Coach and Referee, having been involved with soccer for over 40 years.
