How to get to the hotel by car:

Taking the motorway A1 cross the bridge „Elbbrücken“ to get to the centre of Hamburg. Follow “Amsinckstraße” and then “Willy-Brandt-Straße” (formerly “Ost-West-Straße”) towards “Rödingsmarkt”. Turn left and right again into into “Großer Burstah”. At the next traffic light turn left into “Adolphsplatz”. Turn left at the next traffic light and reach „Sofitel Hamburg Alter Wall”.

Taking the motorway A7 go through „Elbtunnel“, take the exit „Bahrenfeld“ and follow the sign downtown „Centrum“. Take “Bahrenfelder Chaussee“, „Stresemannstraße“, „Ludwig-Erhard-Straße“ and „Willy-Brandt-Straße“ (formerly „Ost-West-Straße“) towards Rödingsmarkt. Turn left and right again into “Großer Burstah”. At the next traffic light turn left into “Adolphsplatz”. Turn left at the next traffic light and reach „Sofitel Hamburg Alter Wall”.

How to get to the hotel by the means of public transportation:

Starting from Main Station:
Take the yellow line (U3) going to Barmbek. Get off at Rödingsmarkt and leave the station in the direction of Stadthausbrücke. Opposite to the station is Sofitel Hamburg Alter Wall. Alternatively, use the green line (S1) going to Wedel/Blankenese or the purple line (S3) going to Elbgaustraße/Pinneberg and get off at Stadthausbrücke. Follow the sign “Neuer Wall, Stadthausbrücke, Graskeller” and crossing the bridge, you see “Sofitel Hamburg Alter Wall” straight ahead.

Starting from the Airport:
Take Airport Express Bus going to Main Station.
