Since his studies in London, i.e. since approx. 1980, Snoopy has been working in the IT. Back then, it was called EDV or even midrange computing and was pretty expensive. A few cost revolutions later, people now have access to high computing power, which they use for rather irrelevant stuff like social media.

For about 25 years, he has been roaming around various costumer networks as a consultant and he is amazed by people’s capacity for suffering in order to get something done with such deformed infrastructure that is more than just vaguely reminiscent of productive work.

His late mother never knew that he was working in such an immoral business like IT Security; she always thought that he was a pianist in a brothel.
